Pwllheli started the match really strongly scoring two early scintillating tries through scrum half Robin Hirdre and full back Danial Williams. Within twenty five minutes Pwllheli scored their third try follwing a rolling maul. Osian P.Jones addded one conversion.
Ruthin then had a back rower red carded for foul play. As sometimes happens this spurred the visitors on and the half time score remained at 17-0 to Pwllheli.
The second half was a more dour affair.Pwllheli scored two more tries to secure the crucial try bonus point but conceded a score late in the match. Osian P Jones added his second conversion.
We now have an enforced break until February 20 when we have a key game away to Bala.
We have to date rearrnaged three of our postponed fixtures -
Nant home on 16/04, Bethesda away on 23/04 and LLandudno away on 30/04.
