Update

A note hoping it finds you all well.

Thankfully there are some positives to report from the Club -

Junior training is going well with sessions for most age groups either on Tuesday or Thursday evenings.

Sessions are carefully segregated and Junior officials Gareth Hodgson and Dewi Jones ,with the support of the hardworking coaches, we have been able to involve hundreds of our children in the coaching sessions. This has involved a great deal of effort as each child has had to Register with the WRU and comply with a list of conditions before and during sessions.

We have installed sanitiser dispensers within the club and the perpiphery of both pitches. New balls, cones etc have been purchased to assist in the processs of keeping everything clean.

The recent Club Committee agreed to a reduced membership rate to reflect the reduced use of the club. Details to follow in the next few days.

As of yesterday the WRU announced that Clubs could play competetively against each other - but only in touch rugby. Matches would be limited to 20 minutes each half. Usual Covid conditions will apply. Players cannot share cars to travel etc. We will see what response we get.

The WRU have made a commitment to the 6 Nations but if it takes place the dates are very likely to be chnaged. Discussion is ongoing about supporters being able to support their teams and like everything else it is dependent on the Covid scourge.

Please keep safe.
