Pwllheli v Colwyn Bay RFC

Pwllheli RFC 95  Colwyn Bay RFC 0

The match was somewhat devalued by the visitors having to opt for uncontested scrums even before the match started. This issue is clearly a big problem for North Wales with even Nant having to declare uncontested scrums in a recent fixture at Pwllheli.

As it was both teams gave their all but Pwllheli's fifteeen tries and ten conversions reflects the disparity betwen the sides on the day.

Flanker Dafydd Anwyl had an excellent all round match and scored no fewer than four tries in the process. Osian Parry Jones added twenty points via ten conversions.

Match report  to follow.

The squad's focus now moves to Saturday 18 February when Abercarn RFC are the visitors. This is the National Swalec Plate Quarter final and a hugley important match for rugby on the Lleyn so please come in droves to support all those involved at senior rugby at Pwllheli.

Kick off for this match is at 2.00
